Apple & Raspberry Jellies

About the Recipe

Jellies are gelatin lollies sweetened using fruit or fruit juice. They are so simple to make, contain only a handful of ingredients and use gelatine, a gut-healing star!

“Gelatin contains amino acids that helps to feed the good bacteria ” Good gut buddies” in your intestinal tract, it can also help to seal a leaky gut/repair the gut lining by strengthening and protecting the mucosal tissue of the intestinal tract.

Ingredients

2 cups Organic apple juice


3 TBS Gelatin – I use @nutraorganics


Squeeze of Lemon Juice Hanful of frozen rapsberries

Preparation

Place the juice in a pot and sprinkle the gelatin over the top. Let it bloom 🌸 for 5 minutes (this means it goes all puffy) then in a low heat slowly heat the mixture until all the gelatin has dissolved. (Few minutes). Leave to cool for about 5-10 mins then here you can add the lemon juice and stir.



Then place the mixture into molds. Leave on the bench to slightly set for 15 minutes then pop in your frozen raspberries and transfer to the fridge to set for 2-3 hours.



Then pop them out & store in a glass jar for up to 5 days.
