Banana and Raspberry Nice-cream

About the Recipe

Fri-Yay - but it’s actually Tuesday!
Fridays are our usual ice cream day.
We stop at our local dairy and the girls jump out to grab their fav. It’s a tradition at the end of a full week.

But if you’re craving ice cream or something sweet this week, then this whipped nice cream is ready in 2 minutes.

Ingredients

2 cups of frozen chopped bananas.


A handful of frozen or fresh raspberries.


1 Tbs peanut or nut butter


Preparation

In a blender or food processor add 2 cups of frozen chopped bananas. Add a handful of frozen or fresh raspberries.


Let the fruit defrost a little for 5 minutes then add 1Tbs peanut or nut butter and blend until thick and creamy in a food processor or blender.


If it needs a bit of help to get things going add a splash or almond milk or any milk.


That’s it. Top with nuts, cacao nibs, granola or coconut. Or a couple of @ceresorganics coconut wafers


And you’ve got a nourishing sweet snack.
