Banoffee & Sesame Ice-cream
(dairy free)

About the Recipe

It’s SO delicious!! Probiotic rich, Gut loving & quick to make.
The ultimate healthy dessert or snack & it tastes just like a banoffee pie!

Ingredients

1 jar of coconut kefir/yoghurt (I used @raglanfoodco ) or 1 can of coconut cream


1/2 very ripe banana


1 T maple syrup


1/3 cup peanut butter (@picspeanutbutter )


2 scoops caramel protein powder (@cleannutritionnz )


1/2 tsp turmeric


2 tsp sesame seeds

Preparation

Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until creamy.


Transfer to a container and freeze for a minimum of 3 hours. (I sprinkled toasted sesame seeds & peanuts 1/2 way through ).


When you’re ready to enjoy it, leave it on the bench for 5-10 minutes to soften slightly.

If it’s a bit icy, blend it up with a fork to make it more creamy.



Serve in a bowl or cone. Top with toasted sesame seeds, granola or fresh fruit like banana.
