About the Recipe

Love that snap sound! Used to eat these as a kid and i've made my own version here. Spiked with Cinnamon, Turmeric and Maple i'm sure you'll love this healthier version.

Ingredients

1 Cup Sesame seeds

1 Tbs Maple syrup

1 Tbs Coconut oil

1 tsp Cinnamon powder

1/2 tsp Turmeric powder

Preparation

In a pan on low heat, add all the ingredients and stir.

Gently increase the heat slightly and keep cooking while stirring until the sesame seeds are golden.

This may take a few minutes. The mixture will still look quite wet but as it cools it will harden.

Then, transfer the mixture onto a lined baking sheet, flatten with the back of a spoon, and shape into an oblong or circle shape.

Leave to cool and harden completely. This may take 30 Minutes.

Then you're ready to snap!

Store in an airtight container.

Enjoy!
