Gingery orange & lemon immunity shots

About the Recipe

Perfect to sip on hot in those winter months or top with sparkling water in summer! Full of Vitamin C & immune boosting goodness.

Ingredients

10 Lemons


4 Oranges


2 Limes


3-4cm Knob of fresh Ginger


Preparation

Juice the lemons and limes and place the juice into the blender along with the knob of ginger.

Peel the oranges and place the whole oranges also into the blender.


(You can add the zest of 1-2 lemons and oranges if you like too)


Blend on high for a couple of minutes until the juice is smooth.


Pour the juice into silicon moulds. This mixture makes approx 6-8 large shots.


Place the moulds into the freezer to set. Then you can pop the shots out of the mould and store them in a freezer-proof bag or container.


Then when you want to sip on an immunity-boosting shot, pop one out into a mug and top it with boiling hot water and a dash of manuka honey or top it with sparkling water for a refreshing cool drink.
