Green goodness pesto

About the Recipe

Im loving that bright green!

This is awesome on quinoa pasta, pizza, bagels, roasted veges or even sourdough!

Ingredients

2 Cups of fresh basil leaves


A bunch of spinach


A few stalks of raw brocolli


1-2 cloves of garlic,


1/4 cup of walnuts or almonds,


1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil. I used @thevillagepress extra virgin olive & avocado oil.


2 Tbs of nutritional yeast flakes or 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.


Plus salt & pepper to season.



Preparation

Place all the ingredients into a food processor.


Blend until smooth. Taste and see if you'd like to add more cheese, nutritional flakes or salt & pepper.

I always taste, taste, taste and adjust to my liking.


Stores beautifully in the fridge for about 5 days and grows in flavour! Yum
